RAs978 arsenic removal agent is a copper-based arsenic removal catalyst primarily used for arsenic removal in raw materials such as propylene and ethylene. It features excellent arsenic removal efficiency, high arsenic removal capacity, and ease of use, with overall performance comparable to imported catalysts. The arsenic removal mechanism of RAs978 operates as follows: Hydrogen arsenide (AsH₃) in liquid propylene reacts with copper oxide to form copper arsenide and elemental arsenic. A portion of this reaction also generates new copper-arsenic alloys. This process achieves the removal of AsH₃ from the feedstock, thereby protecting the polymerization catalyst.
3CuO+2AsH3 = Cu3As+As+3H2O
