HT-2 deoxygenation catalyst can directly remove trace oxygen from inert gases. During the reaction, the feed gas requires no quantitative hydrogen blending, and the deoxygenation agent needs no frequent regeneration. Its deoxygenation capacity is 100 times greater than that of conventional deoxygenation agents. It imposes no pressure requirements, offers low cost, and produces high-purity gas after adsorption purification of the deoxygenated gas. Suitable for direct oxygen removal from inert gases such as nitrogen, argon, helium, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide, it is particularly effective for post-treatment purification in pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generation systems.
Common nitrogen or other inert gases typically contain around 0.5% oxygen, making them unsuitable for industries requiring high-purity gases. Purchasing high-purity nitrogen directly is costly. By passing standard nitrogen or other inert gases through purification equipment containing HT-3 deoxidizer, high-purity gases can be produced conveniently.
