HT-type high-efficiency deoxidizer belongs to the manganese-based deoxidizer category and is widely used in petrochemical, steel metallurgy, electronics and semiconductor industries, light industry, and research institutions. It is primarily used to remove trace oxygen from liquid-phase propylene in propylene production. It can also be employed to eliminate trace oxygen from gases such as nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and ethylene. This deoxidizer offers excellent deoxidation efficiency, high deoxidation capacity, and the ability to simultaneously remove impurities like CO₂ and H₂O. It operates stably without causing temperature spikes.

In China's polypropylene production process, raw polypropylene contains trace harmful impurities such as H₂O, O₂, S, COS, CO, and CO₂, which reduce catalyst activity and may even cause catalyst poisoning, preventing normal production. Therefore, raw materials must undergo purification before polymerization to meet specifications. Typically, some manufacturers employ nickel catalyst deoxidizers to remove O₂ from feedstock. The principle involves the reduction-state nickel in the deoxidizer reacting with O₂ in propylene to form high-valent nickel oxides, thereby achieving deoxidation. In actual production, nickel-catalyzed deoxidizers often cause catalyst overheating and sintering during activation and startup phases due to intense activation reactions and strong hydrogen adsorption by the activated catalyst. This disrupts normal production and incurs economic losses. The HT high-efficiency deoxidizer eliminates these drawbacks, ensuring stable industrial operation and meeting all polymerization process requirements.
