Alumina Mercury Removal Agent is a highly efficient gas purification material utilizing high-purity activated alumina as a carrier. Through a specialized impregnation process, it loads precious metal or transition metal active components. Primarily used to remove mercury and its compounds from fluids such as natural gas, petrochemical tail gas, and coal combustion flue gas, it serves as a critical environmental consumable for ensuring industrial production safety and ecological environmental protection.

This product achieves mercury removal through a dual mechanism of “physical adsorption + chemical fixation”: The porous structure of the activated alumina carrier provides ample adsorption sites to rapidly capture mercury atoms in the fluid. The loaded active components chemically react with mercury to form stable mercury compounds (e.g., mercury sulfide, mercury chloride), preventing secondary mercury release. Mercury removal efficiency exceeds 99.9%, with stable performance maintained across the -20°C to 300°C temperature range, adapting to diverse industrial conditions.

Compared to traditional activated carbon mercury removal agents, aluminum oxide mercury removal agents offer significant advantages: First, strong resistance to water vapor interference, maintaining high adsorption efficiency even in environments with relative humidity above 80%, addressing the issue of activated carbon deactivation upon water exposure; Second, it boasts high mechanical strength (compressive strength ≥100N/particle) with a wear rate below 0.5%, reducing the risk of dust clogging equipment during operation. Third, it exhibits excellent regenerative properties, achieving over 85% regeneration efficiency through thermal desorption or chemical elution processes, significantly lowering operational costs for enterprises.
