Product Features & Applications
BH-1 hydrogenation catalyst is used for producing cyclohexane from benzene via gas-phase hydrogenation, with the reaction equation as follows: C₆H₆ + 3H₂ → C₆H₁₂ ΔH = -216.51 kJ/mol The hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexane is a volume-reducing, highly exothermic equilibrium reaction, where high pressure and low temperature favor cyclohexane formation. This catalyst employs active alumina as the support and nickel (Ni) as the active component. It features uniform dispersion of the active component, high catalytic activity, high selectivity, excellent stability, and strong adaptability to feedstock variations.
