1. Project Overview
Project Name: Technical Renovation Project for Environmental Protection Enhancement and Plant Layout Adjustment of Shandong Xunda Chemical Group Co., Ltd.厂区
Construction Location: Jingzhong Town, Zibo City, Shandong Province, within the existing premises of Xunda Chemical.
Construction Content: The existing warehouses No. 4 and No. 5, along with the propylene additive workshop, will be renovated into a calcination workshop. The workshop will be equipped with a kneading machine, an extrusion molding machine, a steam dryer, a mesh-belt furnace, a hot-air furnace, and a vibrating screen. The existing roller hearth furnace and two organic heat-transfer furnaces will be dismantled, and a new mesh-belt furnace will be installed. The original drying process, which previously relied on organic heat-transfer furnaces, will be switched to steam drying. The existing 18 ball-forming machines will be removed and replaced by 10 highly automated ball-forming machines and 8 tablet-pressing machines. Additionally, six raw-material silos will be added, new exhaust-gas treatment equipment will be installed, and the flue gas stacks of the kilns will be consolidated. The project’s auxiliary facilities, drainage system, and hazardous waste storage area will all make use of the existing infrastructure within the plant site. Upon completion, the facility will have an annual production capacity of 9,500 tons of catalysts and chemical additives.
